We are delighted to announce that our Fall Tea will take place on Sunday, November 15, 2026 at the University Golf Club. This annual event is a celebration of the Sheila Barry Best Canadian Picturebook Award Finalists. We will have our award-winning author, David A. Robertson, in attendance to accept his prize for the 2026 Sheila Barry Award.
You can anticipate our usual line up of fun, including our silent auction, books for purchase featuring the 2026 Sheila Barry Award finalists, and a presentation by the prolific Cree author, David A. Robertson, about his work and his winning title, Little Shoes (Tundra Books), illustrated by Maya McKibbin. We will also be awarding the Ron Jobe Scholarship and there will be plenty of time to mingle and enjoy tasty afternoon snacks.
